O Apurado: Netflix series is renewed for the second season

Recently released, the Brazilian series O Apurado, from Netflix, already has a second season confirmed. The new episodes must reach the streaming stage in November, also with no set date. Actress Gisele Itié is the essential new addition to the next chapters.

Suspense with a twist on magic, the series follows doctors Damião (Pedro Caetano), Lucia (Paloma Bernardi) and Enzo (Gutto Szuster) on a mission to vaccinate individuals from Aguazul, a couple in the central region of Brazil, as opposed to a Zika virus mutation. There, they discover that people blindly follow the principles of the Apurado (Renan Tenca), allegorical master.

French-American Alli Willow gave a current statement to Metrópoles and spoke about the production, created by authors Carolina Munhóz and Raphael Draccon and directed by Michel Tikhomiroff.

The series is inspired by the Mexican film Niño Benevolente and was adapted by Raphael Draccon and Carolina Munhóz, directed by Michel Tikhomiroff.
